Gumdramon is a small dragon digimon and is known as the Wild Child in the Digital World. He is famous for causing mischief and he plans to become a superstar, so he can get a lot of attention and stand out.
Gumdramon was sent into DigiQuartz for some particular reason. He called out Tagiru and asked him to become his partner once Tagiru stumbled into DigiQuartz. In truth, he was going to use him as a tool to make him strong, thinking that "this idiot will do nicely". But when Gumdramon was about to be eaten alive by MetalTyrannomon, Tagiru saved him and Gumdramon saw him in a better light. That was when their partnership formed.
